Sam R. Machado Nova Scotia Licensed Architect, NSAA, ALEP Artist Founder/Owner I am a licensed architect in Nova Scotia with over 25 years of office experience. Throughout my career, I have worked on a wide range of projects including: residential, commercial retail, commercial office buildings, and educational facilities. I earned my Master of Architecture Post-Professional from Dalhousie University, and my professional degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela. I am an Accredited Learning Environment Planner (ALEP). My architectural work is inspired by encouraging collaboration with clients and exchanging ideas. I am very passionate about sketching and designing spaces with clear relationships. My art work is inspired by my experiences sketching what I see in my sketchbooks. For many years, I have used sketchbooks to explore design ideas and sketch places around me, which is the best way to learn and understand them. I have a strong interest in the poetry of industrial spaces and the beauty of forgotten urban structures. email: [email protected] |
